VOICES 2014: Mr. Asian American Competition

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the crowning of UVA’s very first MR. ASIAN AMERICAN at our 2014 VOICES! The sisters of Sigma Psi Zeta’s Lambda Chapter worked hard with the great eight contestants to make this an exciting and successful event! We appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm.

VOICES this year took the form of a pageant-like competition for men in the community to prove their outstanding professionalism and share their diverse backgrounds with everyone. They participated in culturally themed portions such as a talent act, traditional/cultural costume competition, and Q & A section where they responded on the spot to serious questions regarding the status of the APA community as well as some fun, light hearted questions.
